Collins Statement on Unemployment Numbers

Statement

Date: April 5, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Representative Doug Collins (R-GA) released the following statement discussing the latest unemployment report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics earlier this morning:

"The unemployment rate this month dropped a tenth of a percent, from 7.7 percent in February to 7.6 percent in March. Back in 2009, during the time of the stimulus, Obama's economic team predicted the unemployment rate would fall below 6 percent by 2012. The President and his team continue to incorrectly predict the effects of his policies on the U.S. economy," said Collins."I will work alongside my colleagues in Congress to reduce the burden of federal regulations on small businesses."
