Kuster Statement on President Obama's FY14 Budget

Statement

Date: April 10, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement today in response to President Obama's FY 2014 budget.

"I am pleased that President Obama has put his budget proposal on the table. While I don't agree with all of the President's proposals, his budget reflects the need for a balanced approach that will reduce the deficit, grow the economy, and help create jobs and economic opportunity for middle class New Hampshire families. That remains my top priority in Congress, and that must be our top priority as a nation.

"Now that both parties and the President have laid out their budget priorities, it's time for Republicans and Democrats to come together and negotiate a bipartisan plan to address our fiscal challenges and put Granite Staters back to work. That type of responsible compromise remains the best and only way to break the gridlock in Congress and move our country forward."
