House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issued the following statement today after the House passed the "Path to Prosperity" Fiscal Year 2014 budget:

"I applaud the House for working together to pass a responsible, balanced budget that will foster a healthier economy and help create jobs for hardworking Americans. Washington spending is out of control, and our national debt is growing exponentially. This hurts hardworking Americans all across this country -- our neighbors, our friends, our parents, our children. The House Republican budget makes life better for all Americans while ensuring a stable economic future for generations to come."
