Weekly Update:
* Voted to fund the government through the rest of the fiscal year, reducing discretionary spending $63 billion below current levels.
* Approved the SKILLS Act in the House Education and Workforce Committee, a common sense to reform the nation's broken job training system and help put Americans back to work.
* Looked at wasteful spending in federal agencies highlighted by the non-partisan Inspectors General during a House Oversight & Government Reform Committee hearing.
* Met with members of the agriculture community from across Monroe County for the Monroe Farm Bureau legislative meeting.
