Today, U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S (R-AZ) introduced H.Res. 98, a resolution expressing the House of Representatives' unwavering support of Israel's right to defend itself against acts of war.

"Israel is certainly one of our most important allies not only in the Middle East but in the world. It is a flourishing and vibrant democracy that shares many of our values. Like every nation, the people of Israel have the right to be safe and the Israeli government has the moral and legal right to defend itself against existential threats such as the one posed by Iran."

"Let this resolution leave no doubt in the Israeli people and their government, that the United States remains deeply committed to Israel's security and supports the right to defend itself against any and all acts of war. I urge my colleagues to show their solidarity with Israel and support this resolution."

Congressman Gosar is a member of the Israel Allies Caucus and introduced similar legislation in the 112th Congress.
