Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (CT-5) released the following statement regarding the announcement that President Obama has nominated former Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection Gina McCarthy to be the next Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):
