Issue Position

I work with and advise small businesses everyday, helping them succeed and create good jobs here in Oregon. Let's face it, it's not easy out there. Seeing the struggles my clients face, I know that there is more we can do to help small businesses succeed.

In the legislature, I'll work with local employers to invest in job training programs so that our businesses have the trained workers they need to be competitive. I'll explore every way to get more money into the pockets of regular Oregonians, so they have more money to spend in the local economy. I'll direct government contracts to Oregon businesses first, and make sure that any Oregon dollars already being spent with out of state companies come home to our local employers.
