"Today we honor the six individuals whose lives were taken 20 years ago by a senseless and cowardly act of terror. I encourage all New Yorkers to join me today in offering my heartfelt condolences and affirming our commitment to never forget those who perished. Our efforts to rebuild at the World Trade Center site demonstrate the strength and resilience of all New Yorkers to the world."
