Rep. Pitts expresses condolences to family of fallen Marine from Oxford

Washington -Congressman Joe Pitts (R, PA-16) today expressed sympathy to the family of Corporal Kyle Joseph Renehan. A native of Oxford , Chester County , Corporal Renehan was killed in the line of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He died on December 9th at a military hospital in Kaiserslautern , Germany , of wounds received during an enemy attack on November 29th.

Corporal Renehan served in the Helicopter Marine Medium 263, Marine Air Group 16, 3rd Marine Air Wing, out of Cherry Point , North Carolina .

The following is Rep. Pitts' statement:

"Corporal Renehan is a hero. Like every other American soldier who has ever been killed in the line of duty he died bringing hope and freedom to a people who have never known it before. On behalf of the people of the Sixteenth Congressional District, I extend my deepest sympathies and prayers to Corporal Renehan's family and friends as they grieve the loss of this heroic American."
