United States Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) today questioned Secretary Hillary Clinton during her testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about the September 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi in which four Americans were killed, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens.
"The fact is, we haven't been given a clear picture of what went on in Benghazi. After this hearing, that picture remains hazy at best," said Flake. "Serious questions remain, such as why UN Ambassador Susan Rice made statements contradicting known intelligence and analysis at the time."
