Congresswoman Jenkins on Approaching Fiscal Cliff Deadline

With only a few hours left as the nation approaches the fiscal cliff deadline, Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins released the following statement on the current negotiations:

"Regardless of the results of the current negotiations, this year will come to a close amid furious negotiations to avoid the fiscal cliff and the new year will begin with negotiations to address the debt ceiling," said Jenkins. "Our autopilot spending is eating our country's fiscal health alive. If there is anything everyone should agree on, it is the best New Year's resolution for Congress is to finally address our spending problem, and start by passing a responsible budget."
