(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Mike Johanns is reminding Nebraskans to fly their flags at half-staff in observance of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Tuesday, Dec. 7.
Gov. Johanns said, "On this anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, I'm asking Nebraskans to remember the victims and honor the heroes of that day by lowering their flags. Our men and women in uniform continue to answer the call in service to our county and today is a day to remember not only those who have fallen in the line of duty for the sake of freedom, but also those who carry the legacy of bravery and service in their duties today."
