Perlmutter Supports Tax Cuts For Middle Class; Extension Of Production Tax Credit

Last night, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) voted to support the bipartisan agreement making permanent tax cuts for the middle class and extending important tax credits like the wind energy Production Tax Credit.

Perlmutter said, "This wasn't a perfect bill, but it helped us avoid the so-called fiscal cliff. It is a bipartisan compromise ensuring we can continue investing in and growing clean energy jobs here in Colorado and reducing our dependence on Middle Eastern Oil. We are protecting the hard working people of Colorado, seniors, veterans and students while continuing to find ways to reduce our deficit, add jobs and have an economy built to last."
