Issue Position: Cut State Regulation

Issue Position

Date: Jan. 1, 2013

Eight years of Democrat administration in Montana has resulted in an anti-business and anti-growth atmosphere in the very state agencies that are supposed to assist private industry. During this same time, state government has grown by more than 1,000 new state employees. Development in Northeast Montana has produced example after example of state regulators discouraging growth and development, not properly assisting them.

Austin wants to encourage development in Montana by cutting pointless regulations and bureaucracy, and to force state agencies to assist private industry, not impede it.
