. More Funding for School Discipline: Margaret knows that children cannot learn in a disruptive classroom. She has worked hard to give teachers the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and voted for the creation of the first statewide alternative school for troubled youth in the nation.

. Smaller Class Sizes: Research shows that smaller class sizes in the early grades significantly improve a child's ability to succeed. Senator Henry co-sponsored legislation to spend $6.5 million to shrink class sizes in grades kindergarten-to-three.

. Scholarships for College: Margaret Rose Henry believes that any student who wants to attend college should. She co-sponsored legislation to fund savings accounts for college tuition at the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Delaware Tech.

. Investments in School Technology and Textbooks: Children need access to the latest textbooks and computer technology if they are to succeed in our rapidly changing world. Senator Henry has worked hard to provide $10 million to fund next textbooks and to wire every public school for the Internet.
