Issue Position

When faced with an unwanted, unplanned pregnancy, every woman should have the right to choose whether to have an abortion. Because such a choice is difficult, there should be support for those who do choose abortions as well as for those who make alternative decisions. We also need support for the "third option" -- adoption. The government should not come between a woman, her doctor, and her own ethical and religious views.
