Issue Position: Do you think Maine should expand MaineCare as proposed by the president under the Affordable Care Act?

Issue Position

The State of Maine should be doing everything in its power to have healthy citizens with access to doctors,hospitals, and medicine. The sad Republican attempt to avoid obligations to the Affordable Care Act was rejected by the courts in a few short sentences. Attempting to have fewer citizens with health insurance, rather than more, is ridiculous. A state to our south with compulsory health insurance also has the lowest rise in health care costs in the entire nation.
