Dear Friend:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today announced that it is awarding $6.5 million in grants to improve water quality and restore wetlands throughout the San Francisco Bay watershed. These funds will go to nonprofit organizations and state and local agencies and will support ten local initiatives to prevent pollution, restore streams and tidal marshes, and manage floodwaters in an environmentally sound manner.
