Rhode Island politics is not about Democrat vs. Republican. Nor is it about Left vs. Right. Our challenge in Rhode Island is to break the stranglehold that corruption has on our state - to end the good-old-boy network. This is seen in elected officials on both sides who cling to power for powers sake. They forgot why they were elected.

There are many good public servants. But there also are many who think they are doing the right thing based solely on their electoral success. They need to understand that these seats are not their seats, these elections are for the peoples seats. Those that have broken the law need to resign...today.

I do not view the General Assembly as a career path, nor will I distribute jobs to my friends. On the contrary, I seek to help cleanse this ethical stain on our state and ensure that "We the people" are properly represented. I support a citizen legislature through term limits. I commit to focusing 100% on you by not running for re-election.
