The NRA gave me an "A+" because not only have I supported the 2nd Amendment by casting votes, I have led the charge. In Congress, I sponsored the Protecting Gun Owners in Bankruptcy Act, which amends federal bankruptcy law to add personal firearms to the list of permissible exemptions during bankruptcy proceedings. I am also a co-sponsor of the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act as well as the Veterans' Heritage Firearms Act.
