Issue Position: New York's Economy

Issue Position

Date: Oct. 17, 2012
Location:

First and most importantly, New York State must lower and simplify the tax code. Our state is too large to have business funding decisions centrally managed through wealth redistributing economic development projects. Also, much of the 121st district is lacking basic information technology infrastructure. Without high-speed Internet or cell phone coverage we cannot expect business to thrive.

New York can grow as long as government gets out of the way and lets it happen. It's time our government realized it's the grand planner of a citizen's life but instead the protector.
