I always put the people of south Arkansas first.

They always trump politics. I helped pass part of the largest tax cut in Arkansas history to bring tax relief to hard working Arkansas families, because it was the right thing to do. And let me promise you this, nobody's going to work harder to bring new jobs here and grow our local economy. I'm asking for your help. Working together we can make this an even better place to live.

Bruce's number one priority is to help grow south Arkansas's economy, by increasing jobs and helping families and businesses to thrive. He understands the strong relationship between educational opportunity and economic development, between the quality of our public schools and our ability to attract new jobs.

He's proven that he can work with Governor Beebe to pass common sense legislation that keeps Arkansas moving forward.

Knowing that we all must live within our means -- especially government -- Bruce helped keep Arkansas's budget balanced, while bringing tax relief to thousands of working families.

As lead sponsor of the Government Efficiency and Accountability Act, Bruce worked to streamline state government and make sure that our tax dollars are being used effectively -- and efficiently.

Bruce has lived here most of his life. Through his service to local organizations, Bruce has proven a deep commitment to our community. He and his wife, Martha, raised their family in Magnolia and instilled in their children the values of hard work and responsibility.
