Issues: Food Processing and Sales
Dear Friend:
Today I wrote the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), calling on the agency to address the alarming number of seafood fraud incidents, where fish and other seafood is being deliberately mislabeled and sold to consumers.
Seafood fraud is not only deceptive marketing, but it also poses serious health risks, especially for pregnant women and individuals with serious fish allergies.
