Today, Rep. David B. McKinley, P.E. (R-WV) served as the keynote speaker at an event discussing Medicare post-acute care reforms at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

"With 10,000 new participants added every day, experts are now predicting the Medicare trust fund will become insolvent by 2024 and healthcare spending, in general, is on track to total $2.7 trillion in 2012," noted Rep. McKinley.

Rep. McKinley made his remarks at an event hosted by the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation. In a comprehensive analysis of Medicare claims released today by Dobson DaVanzo and Associates, data finds that the Medicare program could save upwards of $100 billion over the next 10 years and the life of the Medicare.
