Issue Position

In this tough economy, the families and small businesses in our area have had to do more with less. Our government needs to do the same.

The last thing we need right now is the government taking more dollars from families. As your representative I will work to lower taxes and reduce government spending. Minnesota government needs to live within its means, just as all Minnesota families must do. It's immoral and irresponsible for our state to keep spending more than we have and sticking the next generation with the bill. We need to restore fiscal discipline at the state capitol.

High taxes stifle innovation, prevent saving, destroy production, crush the middle class and the poor, and discourage investment. Every Minnesotan is entitled to the fruits of his or her labor, especially during these tough economic times.
