SENATOR ALLARD SECURES FUNDING FOR OURAY WATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Wayne Allard (R-Colorado) announced Tuesday that he has successfully secured $950,000 for water infrastructure improvements in the City of Ouray.

"We are so pleased to be receiving nearly $1 million for badly needed water infrastructure improvements in Ouray," said Pam Larson, Mayor of Ouray. "It's good to know that Senator Allard is taking care of rural Colorado."

"The provision of clean, safe drinking water is a basic municipal service that cannot be overlooked," Senator Allard said. "I am pleased I was able to obtain this funding, which will allow Ouray to upgrade its water storage and distribution system, keeping its water up to standards."
