Issue Position

I am a strong supporter of the second amendment! The right to keep and bear arms is essential to our democracy and preserving our personal safety.

I support removing restrictions on where guns can be carried, such as college campuses. Colleges will be safer places when law abiding citizens are not stripped of their fundamental right of self-defense. Criminals will no longer feel safe targeting unarmed college students.

Constitutional carry is another big issue, which means no more government permission slips. You don't need a permit to exercise your 1st or 4th amendment rights, so why do you need one to exercise your 2nd?

Along with this, Clark County's blue card registration system should be abolished. The way the system works, illegal guns stay illegal, and the only guns in the database are legal guns. Why do we spend so much money tracking law-abiding citizens and their personal property? Let's go after the real problem - bad guys with illegal guns - and leave the good guys alone.
