Shelby Announces $1.4 Million for Baldwin County

SHELBY ANNOUNCES $1.4 MILLION FOR BALDWIN COUNTY
WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. Senator Richard C. Shelby (R-AL) today announced that Baldwin County will be receiving $1,438,445 from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). These funds will be used to reimburse Baldwin County for part of the cost of debris removal in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan.
Senator Shelby said, "I am pleased to announce that Baldwin County will receive this much deserved funding as a result of the devastatation caused by Hurricane Ivan. These funds are critical for our communities to recover and rebuild to pre-hurricane operation levels following this storm."
