Issue Position: Reforming Government

Issue Position

Date: Jan. 1, 2012

Harrisburg is a mess, and Kurt Masser has a record of reforming government and making it work for the citizens it serves. Kurt will take this experience to Harrisburg to work with our next government to reform the way Harrisburg does business.

As a State Representative, Kurt will support legislation that puts an end to the perks like free health care and free cars. Kurt will sponsor legislation making legislators pay a portion of their health care as well as refuse a state car, instead only taking mileage for the miles he travels on official business.

Most importantly, Kurt will work to limit the influence special interests have over the legislature by requiring immediate disclosure of any campaign contribution as well as strengthening the lobbyist disclosure laws on the books.
