Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona's Sixth District, today made the following statement on the tragic killings at the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya:

"My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who were killed yesterday in a violent attack on our consulate in Libya. Such senseless acts of violence cannot be tolerated or justified," said Flake.
