Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar (R-AZ) was recognized by the National Federation of Independent Business as a "Guardian of Small Business" for his work in the 112th Congress to protect America's small business owners.

"As a small business owner for over 25 years, I know that entrepreneurs are the key to restoring American prosperity and boosting our economy," said Congressman Gosar. "Just last week, I hosted a roundtable for local self-starters who told me they have the determination, drive and work ethic required to start a successful business, but that they also have a federal government holding them back. I will continue to protect job creators from over-regulation and anti-growth policies, and I am honored to receive this recognition from the NFIB. "

NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner also thanked Representative Gosar and said, "The record shows that Representative Gosar is a true champion of small business."

Last week, Congressman Gosar hosted a packed "Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion and Roundtable" for local entrepreneurs, small business owners and the public. Participants learned about the resources available to them to start a business, and discussed the burdensome regulations that are hindering job growth and success.
