Our electric infrastructure is inefficient,
outdated and unreliable, and is incapable
of accommodating large-scale solar or
wind deployments, or the wholesale
adoption of electric vehicles. Upgrading
our distribution and transmission
infrastructure by converging state-of-the-
art wireless telecommunications and
information technology with existing
electrical, water and gas utility
infrastructure will produce efficiencies that
can save money for consumers while
creating skilled jobs.
