The State must fully fund public education. It is imperative to positive job creation in the greater Athens-Clarke County area and the State of Georgia. We must recognize and address issues of funding disparities among school districts. We should look at all options that will provide the community with the best opportunities to enhance education fueling jobs and organic economic development.
