Fitzgerald Challenges Buchanan to Debates on Medicare, Ethics Reform, and Job Creation

Statement

Today, Keith Fitzgerald, former state representative and candidate for U.S. Congress in Florida's 16th Congressional district, challenged Congressman Buchanan to three televised debates on Medicare, Ethics Reform, and Job Creation.

"Our community needs a Representative that is going to focus on creating jobs and protecting Medicare. After voting twice to end Medicare as we know it and replace it with vouchers, Congressman Buchanan owes it to the voters of the district to explain why seniors should be paying more out of pocket for Medicare," said Keith Fitzgerald. "And after years of dodging numerous lawsuits, multiple federal investigations, refusing to release his taxes, skipping a court ordered deposition, and 'misleading' Habitat for Humanity in a questionable land deal, it is high time he comes clean and explains why he still deserves the privilege of representing us in Congress."
