Traffic in Travis County is more than just frustrating -- it threatens the ability of our emergency responders to do their jobs. When I get to the Legislature, I'm going to make sure that the county and the state work together effectively to find a solution to our infrastructure woes as quickly as possible. I'll make it a priority for the state to finally cofunction with Travis county, eliminate the red tape of construction efforts, and streamline the appropriations process for much-needed improvements and additions to our overrun roads and bridges.
