Issue Position

The men and women that serve in the armed forces are the backbone to our country. I believe that it is our duty as elected officials to ensure our troops have the proper gear and technology to keep them out of harm's way.

It is imperative that decisions that affect the lives of our military members are made by the Generals and military officials not through a camera in the White House. Our armed forces are not a political tool. The use of the military must always be a last resort.

We must remain committed to our veterans and never forget the sacrifices that they have made.
