Jon knows firsthand how the cost of health care and insurance affects hardworking families across Montana. When they were new parents, Jon and Sharla had to give up health insurance because they couldn't afford it -- just like too many other Montana families.

Jon believes all Americans deserve access to quality, affordable health care -- no matter where they live.

As a native of the small town of Big Sandy, Jon understands the unique challenges rural and frontier communities face when it comes to health care. That's why he strongly supports the role of Montana's critical access hospitals, and why he has secured investments in new and expanded medical facilities for veterans.

Jon has always supported Social Security and Medicare, and he opposes all plans to privatize them.
