Rep. Pascrell Statement on September 11 Remembrance

Statement

Date: Sept. 11, 2012
Location: Paterson, NJ

U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-08) released the following statement today on the 11th remembrance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks:

"As millions of Americans pause today to reflect on the September 11 terrorist attacks, we must never forget the bravery and selfless sacrifice that occurred both on that day and in the days that immediately followed. We will always honor the civilians and first responders we lost the day of those horrific attacks, the strength and resolve of the victims and their families, and the heroisms of the brave soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend this great nation. While the wounds of that fateful day will heal over time, and as the new Freedom Tower continues its climb from the ashes of Ground Zero, we must never forget the heroism we witnessed, the lessons we learned, and the redemption the American people earned through our own strength."
