Rep. Todd Young released the following statement in reaction to the killing of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, yesterday:
"In the shadow of the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, these killings in Libya are a reminder that our men and women in uniform are joined in harm's way by the American civilians who make up our diplomatic corps. It's also a reminder that the same American freedoms that came under attack eleven years ago must constantly be defended. My thoughts and prayers today are with the families of those who lost their lives in service to our country." --Rep. Todd Young (IN-9)
