Issues: Taxes Government Budget and Spending

Whereas, I believe in fiscal discipline and that government should not pose an unnecessary burden on taxpayers; and,

Whereas, I believe that government should not grow faster than population and inflation; and,

Whereas, I believe that government should be accountable to the people;

I support the following principles:

- Annual spending growth, on all levels, should be limited to the rate of population growth and inflation.

- Excess revenues collected above this limit should be used to create Emergency and Budget Stabilization funds and when fully funded, additional funds should be refunded to taxpayers through tax cuts.

- Moreover, tax and spending increases must be approved y the people's vote or a legislative supermajority.

Therefore, I pledge to Defend the American Dream.
