Meeting the Needs of our Veterans

Statement

In every generation, America sends our sons and daughters to distant shores to fight on behalf of our freedom, our values, and our safety and security. We owe our deepest debt of gratitude to those who give their lives for our country; and we must do everything in our power to care for those who return safely home. Last week, the Obama Administration announced new measures to expand suicide prevention efforts and enhance mental health and substance abuse services for veterans, service members, and their families. This announcement builds upon efforts by the Administration and Democrats to care for and honor those who serve our great nation.
