Location: Santa Ana, CA

Today, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC officially announced their endorsement of local independent businessman and 46th Congressional candidate Jerry Hayden. This endorsement is coupled with that of Orange County natives Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher and Congressman John Campbell.

"With a ballooning national deficit over $16 Trillion dollars, unemployment on the rise, and thousands of families fleeing the State looking for greener pastures, the direction of both our state and our country is at a critical standing" said Jerry Hayden. "When elected to office, I vow to cut burdensome regulations that are preventing small businesses from creating new jobs. Career politicians in Washington have made it almost impossible for the hard working people of this country to achieve economic prosperity. I will go to Washington to fix Congress."

"Loretta Sanchez has destroyed all hope and opportunity for the people within her district for the past 16 years she's be in office," said Hayden spokesman Jeff Corless. "While she's been in office, the number of children who have dropped out of High School has increased, unemployment has increased, and the number of people struggling to make ends meet has doubled. It's time for new leadership for the 46th Congressional district."

For over twenty years, Jerry Hayden has directed successful financial and investment strategies for Orange County families and businesses. Jerry has also given his time to the community, including serving eight years as the volunteer freshman football coach at Foothill High School. Jerry also served on the Board of Directors for School Power, where he helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to fund public school teachers' extra budgetary classroom needs.

Those around Jerry Hayden know he is a hard-working advocate for better public schools, more private sector job opportunities, and greater efficiency in government.

The youngest of 11 children, Jerry Hayden grew up in Garden Grove and in the Santa Ana/Tustin area, where the family bought a home on a lemon orchard. His father was a doctor and Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. Jerry Hayden completed his Bachelors' Degree in Business Finance from San Diego State University. Jerry, his wife Helen and their daughters Lauren and Katie enjoy the California outdoors in their free time and celebrate Jerry and Helen's wedding anniversary every 4th of July.
