Public transportation use is increasing. Joan supports public transportation that is affordable and meets the needs of people who rely on it. Joan is opposed to raising fares in excessively high increments. Joan understands that the MBTA system is in serious debt that will require multiple approaches to solve and she supports exploring all avenues to achieve a lasting solution.
