Hartzler Receives Endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Press Release

Location: Harrisonville, MO

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of over 3 million job creators of every size and scope, has endorsed Vicky Hartzler for Congress.

Hartzler said: "I am honored to have my candidacy endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. As a small business owner, I firmly believe that we must get government out of the way so that our entrepreneurs can do what they do best: create jobs.

"I will continue to fight for legislation that would end thousands of job killing regulations. I will continue to fight to end Obamacare, which is destroying thousands of jobs. I will continue to fight for a fairer and simpler tax code that will make America more competitive globally.

"President Obama believes that government creates jobs. I believe the only path to economic prosperity is to empower individuals and small business owners to create jobs. It is for these reasons that I am excited to have the endorsement of the Chamber of Commerce."

Vicky Hartzler is a Member of the United States Congress, representing Missouri's 4th Congressional District in the US House of Representatives. She was elected to her current position in 2010. Before representing the people in the United States Congress, Vicky Hartzler served Cass County and Johnson County in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995-2001.

Prior to serving as a lawmaker Vicky was a classroom teacher at the junior high and high school levels in Lebanon and Belton. She and her husband, Lowell, run a diversified farming operation in Cass County and are co-owners of a farm implement dealership, with store locations in Harrisonville, Lamar and Nevada.
