Issue Position

Parents are responsible for the education of their children - whether in public, charter or private schools. Parents need to take an active role in what their children are being taught. From my experience, most educators teach because they have a love for their profession, for youth, or for society. Schoolteachers need to be given the freedom to educate to meet the needs of their students. Teachers also need adequate funding to do so.
