Issue Position

If we have learned anything in the last several years, it is that we cannot spend our way to prosperity. Government does not create wealth -- it never will. Economic freedom and the unshackled opportunity to work hard and create a better life have been the cornerstone of our nation's success and prosperity. I am committed to reducing burdensome and needless State regulation and crippling taxation on businesses and individuals, which I am convinced will unleash a tidal wave of economic growth and development, and many new jobs desperately needed in our community.
