The extremist politics that have taken over Arizona our hurting our state. Katie Hobbs is focused on continuing her fight against the Tea Party and Governor Brewer's horrible policies. Once re-elected to the legislature, Katie will continue to focus on:

Improving Arizona's schools - Katie Hobbs believes in funding our schools, not cutting them. She knows that small classroom sizes, quality teachers, and up-to-date schools are the key to our children's future success. She has received a 100% rating from Children's Action Alliance because of her committment to Arizona's kids.

Creating Jobs - The key to Arizona's success is quality, sustainable jobs. That's why Katie sponsored legislation to give preference to in state companies (HB2680) and why she's voted against the Republicans' massive corporate tax cuts and special interest giveaways. Katie believes the key to success is diverse economic development based on a fair and structurally sound tax code.

Equal opportunity for all - Whether it's fighting against the GOP's attack on women or protecting the rights of all of Arizona's citizens, Katie understands the importance of equality. That is why she received the Phoenix Pride 2011 Mayor Phil Gordon Spirit Award and the Emerge America 2011 Trailblazer Award.
