*We must create a business-friendly environment to attract businesses from several industries, especially technology.

*Being "Open for Business" is not the same as being "Open To Business". We need to be "Open To Business".

*Current business owners must feel confident in growing their business and adding employees.

*We must encourage entrepreneurs with new ideas to start their business.

*We must lower the cost of doing business and eliminate unnecessary or duplicate regulatory burden.

*We must diversify our economy with new and different industries, not a select few, so that jobs can be created and investment will grow in our community.

*I believe that Florida can become a "Center of Technological and Entrepreneurial Excellence."

I will tap my experience in helping businesses grow and create jobs. Bringing more jobs, especially higher paying jobs, to the area will stimulate a quicker turnaround in our economy, the sale of homes, higher property values, malls with higher occupancy rates, more job opportunities for everyone including our students after graduation, more resources for our schools, and many other benefits.
