"I am paying close attention to the concerns of business owners in our community that property taxes have been an impediment to survival and growth during economic downturn. Comprehensive tax reform should make our system of paying for government fair to everyone. Taxes are our monetary investment towards our society. We must ensure that our tax revenue is being spent responsibly and in a way that we can account for. I will be a committed and responsible steward of public funds, just as I have been in my personal and professional life."
