This issue is becoming more real for Arizona and is a problem I will never run away from as a Commissioner. Our state has already experienced almost two degrees of temperature rise, and this change is having an adverse impact on wildfires, drought, agriculture and ranching, water availability, dust storms, and summer comfort. We have a duty to our grandchildren to leave behind a planet that is as healthy as when we received it. We are currently failing in that duty. I will continue to take aggressive action to reduce Arizona's carbon dioxide emissions.
